Rode stereo mic - died after new battery inserted. The light comes on for an instant then dies. The mic is unuseable now. Supplier may offer to replace - but am too worried to go this way a third time? What seems to be the core problem? I made a special point of handling the mic with the greatest care, storing it in its heavy duty case and handling like a baby.
