help

All of a sudden, my camera refuses to take pictures. When I turn the camera on, I get a message that tells me to "turn the camera off and turn it back on again". When I do that, it just repeats the message, not allowing me to return to a photo mode (not with the automatic "heart" or either of the "scene" modes). Can anyone help? Adrienne...
