Estate 2 continious recharge cycle

My unit has been stuck in a recharge mode for 2+ weeks. the water in the house is not actually being softened and for the last several months we have noticed a decrease in the amount of salt that needs to be added. I had done several manual recharges in the past year due to the water not being as soft as it should be. any thoughts?...
