Canon 350d power up problem

I have had the camera 12 months, 6 months ago it intermittently refused to switch on, and now not at all! Bought an A/C power supply as i use it for astrophotography and still no joy. changed 3 amp battery,checked doors and C/f pins, all seem ok. Any ideas would be much appreciated!...
